My background and “What’s in it for You”
I’m a consumer, just like you, and I trust that you can tie in how my experiences will benefit you and your real estate journey. I started in the auto repair industry working as a technician and rose to a service writer and manager of several locations: about 10 years. From a suggestion of a frequent customer, I went back to college for finance and accounting. I then took an ownership interest in a retail home furnishing company for about 5 years. In early 2000, I was swayed over to real estate finance and worked up to be a sales manager at a branch of a large institution. I truly enjoy what I do. As you may have notice, I have been consumer focused for each of the industries. Sure, I love data and numbers, I am very detailed oriented, and I am analytical. But I am always aware and putting other’s needs and feelings first.

Knowing that experience in both categories (selling and buying) allows me to be better in each of them. What makes a top Listing Agent is my experience out shopping with buyers and knowing the trends in the market and local communities. What makes me a top Buyer’s Agent is my experience listing and selling homes which produces insight for preparing winning purchase offers. Whether you are selling a home or looking to purchase - my focus is on the home’s features, its location, the pricing, and timing in the market. I listen carefully to understand the seller’s or buyer’s specific real estate goals and work diligently to create solutions that make sense for you and your home. Our Tale of 2 States
Ah, the Midwest. Its green, the people are real, life is at a comfortable pace, and there are four seasons. Missouri may not be as popular, but it caught our eye early and keeps drawing us in. The memories of growing up in California will always be and yes there are that many sunny days in a year. Each state has its little things but selling real estate is a universal activity. The decision to have a real estate office in both states has only heightened my appreciation of the people I serve and the types of homes and property that I list and sell. The saying “The best of both worlds” has become a reality.
We have been very blessed; my wife and I recently celebrated our 26th anniversary and often tease about writing a book someday. Like most couples with long history, there are stories upon stories of marriage and all the compromises, tears, and laughter that it brings. In addition, we have four children (3 boys and a girl) all born within a timeframe of just over 4 years. Being so close in age, the child raising chapter of our book feels more like a fast roller coaster; exciting and over quickly. Diapers, elementary school, preteens, teenagers, club sports, and now off to college they go. We are so proud of them and have been recently talking about grandkids just so that we can get back into the diaper phase again. Call us crazy right? The kids have ventured out of state for college which started our appreciation of the Midwest, our next chapter!
