We feel it necessary to inform everyone about what makes these neighborhoods great. One of these wonderful communities we want to talk about is the Westglen Woods subdivision in Ballwin, Missouri.
This fantastic little neighborhood is located off of New Ballwin Road, just South of Manchester Road and North of Big Bend road. This community is located near the main Manchester shopping strip, so there are plenty of Stores, restaurants, entertainment, and other amenities just a short drive on New Ballwin Road. While both Big Bend and New Ballwin are active roads, the lack of many traffic signals or stop signs means that traffic flows steadily. This means that rush hour is not cluttering the main roads out of the subdivision.
Westglen Woods is located in a quiet area, without the bustle of city life. The quiet streets ensure that the scenery can be enjoyed without distraction. The neighborhood adopted the ranch style of home as their majority.
The homes that lie within Westglen Woods number over 450, so there is no lack of friendly neighbors. The median home values for this subdivision comes in at about $294,000 and the homes range from about 880 to 1,800 square feet. Westglen Woods was also was developed in the 1960s through the 1970s, though the homes stand the test of time. The neighborhood also resides within the boundaries of the Rockwood school district.
While shopping is great, it is not necessarily for everyone. Some people prefer to spend time in the great outdoors, and that is great for residents of Westglen Woods. If you prefer something with sun and summer fun, Castlewood State Park is nearby. A short drive down Big Bend and turning off onto Reis will take you to the front gates, so outdoor activity is just minutes away. In addition to the State Park, this little neighborhood is only a half hour from the heart of the city. There is so much that you can do within the city of Saint Louis, and it allows residents to enjoy all it has to offer without being subjected to some of the negatives like traffic.
This neighborhood is nestled in a wonderful location only minutes from Manchester. It is nearby entertainment and other amenities, while not having to sacrifice the country feel. It is in a beautiful area, out of the city, and is not far from nature. This means that you are set far enough back to have some breathing room, while not being so far away you are cut off from everything.
